Oat porridge with blueberries

 
    Ingredients:
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 / 3 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 / 4 cup pecans
Directions:

Bring water to a boil in a large, heavy saucepan. Slowly stir and go to sleep oatmeal. When oatmeal begins to thicken, take the heat to low and simmer about 30 minutes or until tender.

Serve in individual bowls decorated with blueberries on top and pecans.

Yield: 4 portions
